A yearly celebration of musical artistry, paying homage to one of UK’s influential label that broke the grounds in the 80’s. A home for most obscure artists, the label played an important role in providing a strong push to musical expression for both signed and unsigned artists in those years. Artists such as Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Xmal Deutchland, Modern English, Bauhaus and Clan of Xymox, are just some of the few acts who gave 4AD its distinct identity. These artists made such impact that most artists of today still shows traces of musical styles rooting from 4AD's signature sound.

Come and join us, as Circa1849 recaptures the experience with current acts performing 4AD cult classics from Lush, Cocteau Twins, The Pixies, Throwing Muses, Xymox, This Mortal Coil and more!!

Experience a night of sound and visual experimentations, featuring sound and visual artists practicing various mediums of experimental sound, music, art and new media.

An initiative effort of E.X.I.S.T. (Experimentation In Sound art Tradition) with the support and participation of individual artists coming from their respected art groups such as Sabaw, Expansions and Media Arts Manila. With the help of Mogwai, Cubao Expo ( X ) for providing the venue and Grand Pearl Production for providing the lights and sounds reinforcements.
